gDiapers Cloth inserts are trim and absorbent washable cloth inserts. Use inside colorful diaper covers called gPants. Cloth Inserts are made from 4 layers of thirsty fabrics. 2 layers of baby-soft microfleece draw moisture away from baby’s skin and 2 layers of hemp/cotton trap the wetness, so baby stays dry. Trim fit. No fuss.
Care instructions
Prepare the Cloth Inserts before first use by washing 3x on hot with no detergent. Dry in between washes. For regular care, machine wash hot with a small amount of cloth-safe detergent. Avoid added enzymes, whiteners, or fabric softeners. Avoid using barrier creams with cloth inserts. Simplicity is best. Machine or line dry.
Just the right size
gDiapers Cloth Inserts come in two size options: small Cloth Inserts fit inside small gPants, medium/large/xl Cloth Inserts fit medium, large and extra large gPants. (We don't recommend using Cloth Inserts inside newborn gPants. Disposable Inserts in size newborn/small work best for tiny babies.)
Cloth diaper tips
Cloth Inserts need to be changed more frequently than disposables. When the diaper is soiled, simply remove the insert and tuck in a new insert for a fresh change. Use the same gPant through multiple changes. Change out the pouch when dirty. For overnight or for heavy wetters, use 2 cloth inserts at one time, with the hemp sides facing each other. Or, use a combination of a Cloth Insert plus Disposable Insert. Keep a stash of 18-24 (3-4 packages) of cloth inserts for full-time cloth diaper use.
